THE LANDAU

FOUR IV brands London’s latest luxury dining destination at the landmark Langham Hotel.

The Landau follows on from FOUR IV’s branding work for the Langham’s Artesian bar. They are both part of the first phase of a multi-million pound refurbishment which will transform the entire hotel by 2009.

The restaurant is named after the open carriage that was fashionable when the hotel first opened in 1865. The name is particularly apt as the restaurant is housed in the former ballroom, where landaus would have set down Victorian socialites.

FOUR IV also created all print collateral, restaurant signage and launch invitations, along with coasters and place mats. The leather menu holders and cloakroom tags were developed in collaboration with Bill Amberg.
