In celebration of their 225 year anniversary, John Smedley commissioned
FOUR IV to create their new look store, launched in June 2009, on Brook Street, W1.
Inspired by the company’s rich history and the location of its origins, FOUR IV have created an environment that uses materials sourced from Derbyshire and created a bespoke feature wall concept inspired by the bobbins that carry the fine gauge wool at their Lea Mills factory.
From concept to store opening, the project took just 19 weeks to complete.
From re-opening on 4th June until the 30th June, trade was up by 22% against last year, with turnover contributions of 69% menswear 31% women’s wear.
FOUR IV are now working with the John Smedley team, to roll out the concept internationally.
