Creating a Global flagship was a challenging
brief for an ambitious brand. An inspirational department
store with everything that parents-to-be and young families
could ask for: babywear, a whole new gifting area offering
pampering for mothers to be, personal shopping, maternity
fashion, a travel section, toys, a nursery. Not to mention
a 60-cover restaurant catering specifically for those with
bumps and appetites of all sizes.
Creatively we went after the challenge with some simple and
startling designs. A dramatic grey glass staircase gives the
interior a striking visual centerpiece, with the illuminated
Perspex blocks running up each side subtly suggesting children’s
playing blocks. A stunning chandelier of silver, white and
clear acrylic glisters overhead.
