The restaurant is named after the open carriage that was fashionable when the hotel first opened in 1865. The name is particularly apt as the restaurant is housed in the former ballroom, where landaus would have set down Victorian socialites.
FOUR IV also created all print collateral, restaurant signage and launch invitations, along with coasters and place mats.
